i sent in eight cellular phones to the pace butler company to receive some money for phones that i will not use again. some of the phones had housing damage and did not work.  within a couple days, i received a check worth only fifty cents and a purchase order stating that the more expensive phones are defective.  i called pace butler the same day i received the check. i left a message because no one answered.  in the message, i stated why i was unhappy with the low check and asked for the phones to be returned to me.  on their website, they do not state that the phones need to be working. all they ask for are used cell phones. after three days, i called them back to see why i didn't get a call and told the women why i was upset. The women working at pace butler told me the phones were defective and showed me where it says the phones need to be working. the fine print said the phones needed to be working and they do not refund or send back their phones.  however, they do not state that on their homepage or on the sell your used cell phones page.  The message is stated on an adobe reader print out that is hard to find.  this corporation works the system to get what they want.

Got more than a retailer

i had sent 2 phones to pace butler which were in damaged condition.
 i was expecting some $20 for it but got a little less than that.
anyways i am quite satisfied now as i later confirmed from a local retailer that i could barely get $20 for those phones elsewhere.
