Complaint Review: Pace Publicity

Pace Publicity Karma Spa Sold a spa package and would not give us the services I bought Toronto, Ontario

My friend and I were at work. A lady came in and was selling spa packages for a spa called Karma Spa. The deal was you receive 4 spa visits that were a half hour each and it was an amazing price. So we both bought one.

We tried calling to book an appointment and there was no answer. We left a message, after 2 weeks of no response we went to the spa and booked our first visit together.

We showed up for our first visit. The lady providing our service asked us to take our shirts off and lie down. We had to do this in front of each other. Very uncomfortable.

The lady the proceeded to work on us going back and forth from me to my friend, without washing hands and our time was shared. We didn't each have someone providing the service. I have taken my Aesthetics course and I know that this is not sanitary as well as unprofessional.

While we were there we decided to book the rest of our appointments, even though we were not pleased at this point.

The second appointment the lady cancelled on us. The third appointment the lady cancelled on us. The fourth appointment the doors were locked. They apparently are now working out of Sherkston Shores in Ontario for the summer.

I proceeded to contact the company ( Pace Publicity ) to get a refund and they said they would look into it. It's been several weeks now with nothing being done about it. I have been sending almost daily e-mails to Pace Publicity and for the last 3 weeks have had no response back to my e-mails.

 After researching the customer's request a complete refund was mailed to her and her associate. We apologise for not getting the refund back to her as promptly as she would have liked but did have to do our due dilligence to confirm her purchase.
