Paces Staffing is a sham agency with no jobs, they do not return calls and they are unprofessional. I have a bachelors degree, a paralegal certificate and five years of paralegal experience in a busy practice area.
I registered with Paces Staffing last year. I sent my resume in response to a position on Monster (or Careerbuilder). When I didn't hear from them after a week, I called and spoke to the recruiter dealing with the job, Kristin. She asked me to come to Atlanta to see her the very next day because she had a position she was currently working on (I knew that because I had applied for it one week before). I went to her office. There was no receptionist and I waited for 10 minutes for someone to help me.
I was then taken to an interview room. The office had two or three people in. There were about fifteen or twenty desks and offices, most of them empty. Kristin asked me about my experience and what I was looking for and said that I was a good fit for her position. She said that I would hear from her later that week.
That was the last I heard from her. I called numerous times, only to be put through to her voicemail. I then got an email from another recruiter telling me that Kristin didn't work there anymore. I replied saying that this was good and hopefully I would start to get better service. I then started to get emails from Paces asking me to join their list on Facebook. I needed a job, not another Facebook friend!
I subsequently registered with Paramount and Matrix, who were much more helpful, but I eventually found a job directly.
I would not recommend this agency.
