Pacific First Benefit is a ripoff; Nasty Con artists. Edina, Minnesota
In December of 2001, I was contacted by Pacific First Benefit. I was on heavy pain medication for complete restorative back surgery. I explained my situation, they said that they could get me a guaranteed Visa card with a minimum of $800.00 credit line and an additional $1500 non-secured loan with no interest. The woman's name was Bushra and she gave me an operator number of 9020. I was given their customer service number of 800 449-4406.
I said I had to think about it, but she said that I would receive both the card and the loan within 10-12 days after payment. On February 2, 2001 they debited my account for $199.00. Of course only a packet of info and another form was enclosed. I called immediately and spoke with Kaleb, gave them my member number of 17441 and he told me that I had to give them 120 days after receipt of form and then the card requests with no security deposits would be flowing in.
I had again informed them that my credit was not good and that was not a problem. On 6/27/02 I was put in "priority" will all Credit card offers. On that Monday ALEXIS informed me that I would recieve a card by 5>30 Wednesday evening or I would receive a refund. NOT. On 8/7 I spoke with Kaleb, again. He assured me I would recieve an unsecured card. AT this time he was nasty, condescending, irritated and a complete jerk. He said that I was out of luck.
I received the folder, that was it. Then he said the the manager was Alexis Revans and that she would call back. No one called back. I did call the supposed "benies" of this program, Quota-Phone Benefit Programs. They would give me no information, except that I couldn't receive anything withouth additional info from Pacific First. They said I had to speak with the benefits administrator at Pacific First or I could not see was I would receive from them. My Member number with them was 4722705, which expires 2/28/03 and I can't even use it! These people are ruthless, fraudulent and will stop at nothing to bilk you of your money. They are horrible individuals.
