Since January1, 2006 I have been trying to get Pacific Gas and Electric to honor my doctors medical baseline request. I sent the form in January 1st and they did not even process it until several weeks later and then just the electrical portion not the gas. Then they made me have my doctor fill out the whole thing again and re-submit it. This was on March 1st.

As of April they have not credited me on the gas as of 3/1/06 and the new bill reflects medical baseline from 3/15 to 3/31 and then from 4/1/06 to 4/12/06 they took it off again. They are counting on you not noticing when they scam a few more bucks for themselves with erroneous charges or so called mistakes of their computer. Since I should have had this medical baseline since January 1 and didn't because they changed the rules, I have had to pay hundreds of dollars more than I should have. This company was bailed out by the taxpayers during their Enron scam and they are still at it ripping us off.

California has refused to build any new power plants for something like the last 30 years because they don't want the pollution. Texas has been building power plants like crazy. They sell the excess power off, at a profit, to whoever needs it. California needs it and has to pay out the nose. Enron ripped the hell out of people. I hate utility companies. But that's the way it is.

where you can file a complaint against this company. If not, can the Attorney General help you? I'm sure you can find information on your state's website.

PG&E Suck

I am a single dissabiled retired machinist and my PG&E has gone up 400% in the last two years. I have complained numerous times to them . They say that my useage has gone from the allotted amount of just over 1000 kwtz per month to over 3000 kwtz per month. when in the last year I have replaced my water heater to a miser 12 energy star water heater and a new Maytag energy star refridgerator.I live in a double wide mobil with my 19 year old daughter who is only home at the most three days a week. I made the mistake last month of setting my heater at 60 degrees and my bill went to 1400 dollars. I have turned off my water heater and heater> I am now heating with kerosene and I have no hot water I my bill is still high somthing has to be wronge with the meter. The heater is only a year old replaced last feb. I have no other appliances just TV computer and lights. Three years my bills in the summer ran about 90 bucks and about 180 in the winter with my heater on. They say that there can't be anything wronge with the meter. Do they calibrate these meters?

Does anybody care what PG&E is up to ripping us off every month?

After all the scams that PG&E has pulled on the complaicent, soundly asleep, pathetically tollerant, stupid citizens of California charging us millions of extra dollars to bail them out of their planned bankruptcy, do you think anyone of them would wake up? Not a one. This state is full of dumbed down people who just keep on letting big brother rip them off and they say nothing. PG&E's new announcement "prepare for bills 40-50-% higher in the coming months. We heard that last year, so now we are at 100% higher and no one is doing anything about it. And the PUC (public utilities commission) is getting ready to approve a 100% increase for 2007. I hate this company and it's greedy tactics.

I am still trying to resolve the medical baseline and now it turns out that their computer screens do not appear as our bills do, so they are making it impossible for their employees to rectify the bills because they are not looking at the data formatted the same way as our bills. Furthermore, now there is a two week waiting period from when you submit your information. They are claiming that they read our meters every two weeks. Has anyone seen them do this? I certainly have not. Are there any lawyers out there that want to straighten them out? Or are the citizens of California just going to lay down and take it?
