Complaint Review: Pacific Guard Warranty

Pacific Guard Warranty This company contacted me for service warranty for my Honda Hybrid. Since they know that my car just past its factory warranty I accepted the offer with their promise that I can be able to cancel it after I review the packet that they will send me. When I receive it I call them up to cancel and I'm informed that I can not get my money back. Now I can not claim warranty for my car. Costa Mesa California

I wanted to cancel the warranty but they said I can not get back my money. Since I will loose money withoth getting anything I let it go.

After two months I had a trouble with my car,I can not get any shop to look up my car once we mentioned the warranty from Pacific Guard Warranty. It was only Tracy Honda that entertained me, but they already informed us that I will not get anything from the warranty. Thru enough I have to handle $ 1,500.00 the repair of my car. The A/C compressor need to be change because it got damage. They claim that the clutch damage the compressor so it is not coverred in the warranty.

They also claim that the clutch is not a part of the compressor. If you look up in the repair and parts manual the clutch is an integral part of the compressor. No A/C compressor is sold without the clutch assembly with it.

Also in their warranty packet it is specified that the A/C compressor is under warranty and it does not mention any where that the clutch is not included. So this is a clear ripoff. If for some reason my engine got defective they will find a way to blame it to a part which cause the damage so it will not qualify for any claim.
