Pacific Random Lotto - Asphat Financial Group Do Not Cash This Check It Will Totally Screw You Up ripoff Brampton Ontario
A letter with a check for $2998.80 came in my mailbox one day. It had a Lotto Header and said I had won. I cashed the check and sent it back to Ontario and two weeks later it came back as the account closed.
This is an outrageous rip off that has ruined my life. Please do not make the same mistakes I made. I honestly did not think it was a rip off or scam because the company contacted me several times about my winnings. Of course this was after my first initial contact that I made to them. I really thought it was for real. The check was very authentic with all the extras for "security purposes" or so I thought.
They told me after a portion of this check was returned to them that my big check was in the mail.. I had no way to check online at the time to see that this company was already on rip off report.com. If I had I would not be out the $2998.80. If anyone out there knows of anything I can do to help me pay this money back it would be greatly appreciated. I have gotten my family and tellers at my bank in a fix right now and I am trying like crazy to fix the wrongs.

Let's see....you received a check as PARTIAL payment from a lottery you never entered. Then they wanted you to send part of that money back to them for fees !! Didn't ANY of that seem even slightly bogus to you ???
And when you called them, they verified that the check was good ? Just what did you expect them to say " Oh no. Please don't cash that check and send us the money because it's a scam" ?????????? PULEEZE !
Had you come to ROR first, you would have read the hundreds upon hundreds of reports llisted here on that scam. You would also not be in the world of legal trouble in which you now find yourself.
Yes, you have to pay that money back. If you don't, you very well could find yourself in prison.
Just remember...NO ONE sends you money out of the blue.
