Pacific Research Group Same scam... BUT, have hacked into a friends LinkedIn account and spewed their lies through a personal message on LinkedIn. I called to the bank to verify funds and sure enough, most of the info on the check was correct, BUT dollar amount was incorrect. My check was for $2,450.00. This group mailed through the USPS; doesn't it make this a federal crime, because it went through the mail? I have seen this before, but they used FedEx. SO, using the USPS seems like a big mistake. Nothing really - send me a bad check through the USPS and I called to verify funds. It's hotter then our BBQ.
