I submitted a request for info online on getting started on selling on ebay, I believe. As I proceeded to fill in the data needed to receive this info by mail, I provided my credit card info to pay for the mailing charges of $4.95. A red flag went up when another box came up offering more in-depth material for an additional charge of what I recall to be either $9.95 or $10.95. I immediately submitted to the originating site my request for the info with a mailing/shipping fees of $4.95 be cancelled. I closed out of the site.

Imagine my surprise when I returned from vacation mid-week this week and found the $4.95 charge for the so-called "mailing fee" posted on my credit card on 6-18-07. Worse yet, I discovered another charge by this same company for $49.90 made yesterday on
6-29-07.

My immediate request to cancel the info and its related mailing charges was not honored and this company is quickly making additional charges. Interestingly, nothing has been sent to me. Simultaneously, I have been deluged with junk email for At Home Business offers as well as phone calls for same even though I am on the National Do Not Call Registry. I cannot help but think that this is the source of the unrequested offers.

Should there be a satisfactory resolution with regard to these charges, I will gladly provide a follow-up report. In the meantime...Beware to all!!!
