Complaint Review: Pacific WebWorks /EA Auctions

I, too, got sucked into this internet scam that tells you for 4.99 US S/H you can receive information on how to make your E-Bay business a sucess. After finding 49.90 US charged for a few months on my credit card I used to pay the S/H fees, I 'Googled' the company and found this useful site. So I went back to the Pacific WebWorks site and low and behold...found the fine print, which is found below the 'pay now' button.

On one of the last lines it says you can write them at 180 South 300 West Suite 400, Salt Lake City UT 84101 or call 1-800-497-4988 to cancel your account. I called them right away and no questions asked, they cancelled it and gave me a confirmation number.

In the meantime I filed a dispute with my credit card company. I guess I'll have to wait and see until my next statement comes in to see if they actually cancelled it or not!
