Complaint Review: Pacific Western Bank

Alittle back ground on myself, I was in a mortorcycle accident and now I am disable, I can not leave my apt.

I live on my Social Security Disability Benefits of $771.84 a month. I get Disablity Food Stamps of $78.00 a month. My rent is $635.00 ~ Utilities are around $125.00 a month. NO TV cable, can not afford it. All I Have is my computer with internet service.

I made a mistake in adding in my checking account. I wrote a check on 09/11/2007 to the Edison company and did not have sufficient Funds. PACIFIC WESTERN Bank paid the overdraft.

On 09/11/2007 I was charged $25.00 for a $18.00 Overdraft. I get CHARGED every day after That OVERDRAFT CHARGED of $5.00 a day.

I get my Social Security Disability Benefits check Direct Deposit and it is not deposit until the 3th of every month. by the time the disablity check is deposited, I will have paid a total of $125.00 for a $18.00 overdraft.

I Emailed Pacifivc Western Bank So I would have an Email in writting, I explaining the situation and was Emailed this:

Unfortunately, this fee is part of the schedule of fees given to you at account opening. After the 5th business day of being negative, the account is charged $5 every day until it is made positive. You can request a copy of this from your branch. Most financial institutions have this fee associated with their checking accounts.
