Page City ripped me off. They're not even certified to fix phones. Pasadena California
I took my Boost Mobile phone in to the guys at Page City to get it repaired because that is where I had bought it only five days earlier. The told me to leave my phone with them and to pick it up in two hours.
So I picked up the phone to hours later, they told me that it could not be fixed and that I would have to buy a whole new phone.
I decided to get a second opinion from a real cellular repair place and there they opened the phone in front of my eyes and told me that I had been ripped off and showed me how the jerks at Page City had either replace the inside of my phone with defective parts or ripped my plates off so that the phone wouldn't work anymore.
When I told the technician who I had bought the phone from he started laughing and said that they didn't know what they were doing. They weren't even really certified to fix phones.

I have worked in the Computer/Electronics Field for over 20 years im sorry you phone was torn up but a little inside info on authorized or certified repair centers.
In most cases in order to become an authorized repair center all you have to do is agree to pay a fee and buy every schematic the company puts out to the sum of about $1500.00 a year and you have to agree to do there warranty work for a ridiculous small amount of money and wait for ever for them to pay you this goes for Television/stereo/ VCR repair and computers are even worse all you have to do is be a dealer and sell there product! the only company that ever asked me for references or training certificates was Nintendo a toy company not RCA or sony or thompson electronics A.K.A.
Magnovox none of the big ones just nintendo so the next time you want to talk about certified, the ones who will pay there fees get the little sticker for there shop windows and another bit of inside info 99.9% of the time when they tell you how much its going to cost its fixed, done, there is no way to tell how much it will cost until its fixed unless you have an obvious one like someone kicked the tv screen. If you only had the phone for 5 days its still under warranty. Check with the company that made the phone good luck I hope this little insite is usefull in some form!
