I received a credit report saying that I owed $314.00 for a bill from AT&T. I have not lived in that state where they say the bill occured in over 5 years and all the sudden this appears on my report. How can I get rid of this without paying someone $314.00 of which is fruadulant and untrue??

This company needs to be taken to court. We are trying to get a mortage and now we will be unable to unless we pay them the $314.00. SO what do we do? I believe that someone is making a profit on this and it needs to be stopped!!
