Palisades Collection, LLC ripoff fraudelent collection entry on credit file - fail to contact or document Englewood New Jersey
Just adding my similar experience with this ripoff company. First awareness of a debt collection against me was my denial of credit for a loan at my long-time credit union. I have spotless credit besides this fraudulent entry by Palisades Collection LLC.
Writing and calling them, another company they referred me to (PENTAGROUP FINANCIAL LLC in TX), and ADVANTA BANK (who appear to be the original credit card account grantor), they each have indicated that they have no written records (or any records!) implicating me as the person owing money.
None of these companies has ever contacted me, except one response letter from Palisades that provided no information. They are or will be in violation of the FCRA and the FDCPA, and apparently the only way to enforce it is through a complaint filed in court.
