Palisades Collection ripoff New information for you about this company Englewood New Jersey
I did some research of my own seeming that they are reporting bogus information on my wifes credit report. I already sent a Debt validation letter (required under FCRA)!

----but why bother ? Just take it too the CRA's who are not doing there job in accurately investigating this on your report. It is considered "willful non-compliance" and is a "slam dunk" in small claims fines penalties $XX,XXX.XX ,etc.

COLLECTION AGENCIES CAN BE SUED AS WELL
I could go on...... Make sure you document EVERYTHING before going to court (if you don't get immediate results). I will keep ya posted as I'm about to take every available legal option under my rights under the FCRA. I'll keep ya posted!

2 months ago, my husband checked his credit, and there was false info from Palisades and OSI Portfolio saying my husband owed from an old AT&T account, but he never had an account with AT&T. I found this website and read your submission. We followed your suggestion and wrote validation letters to the collection companies, and we wrote to the credit bureaus as well. Within a month, these false accounts were taken off my husband's credit. I actually felt a little bad because I wanted to sue these guys. :) I forwarded this information to other people that have had to deal with Palisades too. I just wanted to thank you so much for your post. You have helped a lot of people. Thanks.
