Palisades Collections Collecting money that is not owed Nationwide
I just listened to a voice mail from earlier today from a company I have neither heard of or owe money to. It comes from 866-230-8075 but followed seconds after a call from 281-647-4150. It also followed a day after another strange call which had scam written all over it.
In that conversation I was asked if my bank was closed and ofcourse said yes. The I was asked if I knew where a Western Union was and told that I had won the PCH sweepstakes for $1.7 M and a Chrysler car. All I had to do was find a Western Union and wire $350 dollars to Steven Butler, 1096 North East 82nd Street, Miami, Florida 31338.
You could hardly understand the person as they were definitely not the type of professional that PCH would be hiring and he obviously didn't know that it is illegal to ask for money for any prize won anywhere in the United States. His number was 876-407-9034 and he said his other number was 876-875-4851 and gave me the ficticious name of John Buckingham.
I am not the law enforcement but I definitely see a connection between the three different calls and phone numbers involved.
