Palisades Collections is saying I owe them $227 for a false account I did not open Duluth Georgia
I too was checking my credit report and I noticed this "collection" for $227. The account had supposedly been opened on 12/1/2004...... intersting I thought as I have not opened any credit accounts in about 2 years. So now I am a lot ticked off and I want to know how to get it off my record and how this so-called company is getting away with this. OBVIOUSLY I am not the only one.
So why hasn't this been caught by big wigs or whatever. Lord knows us 'lowly consumers' have very limited power and ability to fix this. So what is the next step?????????? Please let me know!!!
