Palm Beach Outboards In march of 2014 i saw a 2003 yamaha 225 v max posted on ebay. i called the business listed which was palm beach outboards in riviera beach fl. i spoke to Russ about the motor. he told me he personaly ran the motor before removing it from the boat. said it was just fine. h Riviera Beach Florida
i brought it back to cape coral fl, had it rigged to my boat, took it out and didnt run over 3000 rpm and was surging. to it to a marina and had them check it out, it was high pressure fuel pump. full of debris and had to be rebuilt. prior to the motor being rigged to my boat, i had new fuel/water seperator replace and had fuel tank in the boat cleaned. i paid Russ 4500.00 cash for the motor. i called him and did say motor is sold as is like reciept says! after a brief conversation he agreed to pay for half, that was april 9th and havent recieved payment. i do have conversation on my phone from text messages. i say he's another con artist out there selling bad motors! i told eveyone i know to stay away from palm beach outboards!
