I purchased a 2010 BMW 750i, from Palm Springs Hyundai. The sales person that I delt with is Matt Valen. Before I went to the dealership to test drive the vehicle and to purchase the car I had many email exchanges with Matt Valen. I asked straight forward if there was anything wrong with the vehicle. He said "NO" it's in tip top shape. I then asked if there were any mechanical issues with the car and he responded with the same answer. I finally drove to Palm Springs and test drove the car. I again asked very specific question as to the cars standing. I then asked what the entertainment package mentioned in their add on auto trader was and he said "yes I'm sure it has one I just don't know how to access it" it turns out it doesn't have one but no problem as that was not a deal breaker. I bought the car and on my way home it started sputtering and or jerking, I called the sales guy and told him about it he told me he would have it looked at when I brought the car back for them to fix the windshield and the window shade. I kept driving it and the car would sputter every time I drove it in the morning, but then the front wheels would drag and make a noise like the wheels were skiping as I turned them. I also alerted him to this he again said he'd have it looked at. I purchased this car toward the end of December of 2015 and all these problems happened days after I bought it. When I took it back for the window repair I reminded Matt about everything and he said he would have his guys take a look at it. I never got word back about the issues but when I got the car back it stopped having those problems for approxametly a week to a week and a half. In february I got a check engine light come on and the oil light come on in the car. At this point I was worried so I sent Matt a long email asking him to either fix these problems or take the car back. He put me in touch with George Nassar who said he was the maintanence director. I tell gorge everything that the car is doing and I told him I had set an appointment with BMW to look at it and check it out. He tells me "yes that is a good idea, have them look at it and we will get your car back to like new driving conditions and I'll take care of everything, just have them call me directly and I'll take care of everything" The car stayed at BMW for about six days, they call me and say the car has a bad valve, it has an upper oil pan leak, it needs to have a torsion bar replacement, the drive shaft boots are leaking and need replacement, the engine is misfiring and needs all new spark plugs. I am then told by my service advisor at BMW that he called george nassar and he was not just rude but he flat out said they were not taking care of any of the problems. I call him myself and he goes on about not being an open check book, he then tell me that he is not in the business of reparing cars before he sels them that he will not do it. I ask him to pay for the diagnostics done and he says NO he wont do it. He then tell me that he wont do anything because he is not going to take BMW's word for everything that they claim is worng with the car. I asked to speak to the dealership owner or general manager. he hangs up on me instead. I tried to contact the general manager myself and it only goes to voicemail so I leave several messeges to which he never responds. I then call and leave george a voicemail because he won't answer, then I call Matt Valen again and leave a messege and I write him several emails to wich he doesn't respond. I am not being unreasonable about the repairs that the car needs done. If these things were my fault I would not bother them with it and I'd pay for it myself but I have put just over 2,000 miles on the car so I know all the things wrong with it are their doing and their responsability. They claim to have done a 120 point inspection on this car so for that very reason I know that they always intended on defrauding me by selling me a lemon. Matt Valen and george nassar are both crooks and in my opinion are ok lying about the state of the cars they sell and are even further ok with selling veterans bad cars and worse deals. I do not intend on letting this stand so to anyone out there looking to buy a car I urge you to go else where as the people at Palm Springs Hyundai are nothing but crooks who have it out for veterans. I would also be weary of using autotrader as this is one of their dealers.

Being a veteran has nothing to do with this. They didn't ask for your 214 before the deal, now did they? If you bought this thing "As Is", they can say anything they want as long as it isn't in writing. "As Is" means you are not entitled to free warranty service. The disclosure sheet you signed and should have read before signing it, tells you this! Another point is, used BMW's are a nightmare in regards to on going, expensive problems. The answer to your problems is not good. If you have an email trail of the salesman telling you the car is in perfect condition, you "may" have a chance in small claims court. However, the "As Is" status will probably mean you have no case.
