I have been receiving extremely large water bills from my water district which I have disputed on several occasions, all the while continuing to pay to avoid interruption.

My November 2018 bill was $277, in which I complained again, and had my meter tested to make sure it was accurate and I had no leaks on the property. My bill for August - September was $137, which jumps to $277 for September - October, then back down to $118 for October - November.

The tech completed the testing on December 6th and notified me that their meter was indeed inaccurate and was replaced on December 12th. I called the water district to have them adjust my bill, because they have been billing me based on a faulty meter.

They informed me that I'd have to write a letter to the general manager, but continue to pay the bill to avoid interruption. I have paid hundreds of dollars, not knowing how long this meter has been defective and am seeking the balance to be zeroed out completely, for the months of November and December 2018.
