Complaint Review: Palmentere Brothers Cartage

I had filed a report back in 7/2009 about this company;but titled it palmentere bros.I tell you,I've driven for many companies,but have never left,after an orientation(well if you can call it that with these people)I had a bad felling about this company;once I arrived at the (dump) terminal,to many bad sign's.1st nasty motel. 2nd filthy equipment" poorly mantained equipment.The truck they gave me, the bumper was held together with zip ties,an duct tape over hoses on the engine compartment.It had an APU unit" oh boy!" only problem is it kept dying.Poorly maintained I guess.Then it ran out of fuel. Oh they only give you enough fuel to compleate the run that your on.I did say plenty about the truck,but being a small company they did'nt have any other trucks avaliable. No,I was off to a bad start an it could only get worse.So i left,an sure enough these people put on my dac that I worked for them.Never made 1 cent.But since I rented a car,to go up there an then back,they cost me plenty.But Im glad I did leave.Ive been driving for 25years.An if your in this bussiness especialy now(protect your CDL) working for companies like this wont do it.

Ya no'its strange but some people (very few) think this is a good co.You'll find that in every outfit out there.But take it into account,there's driver's that dont have alot of experience,also that are mentaly challenged,or cant seem to get hired on by another company,might not have a good upbringing;or possibly have a criminal record. Hey! if this is you, then this company is right for you.Im serious when I say,that some of the drivers there looked like they came out of prison. An the machanics too.
