Boy was i snowed (& I live in Houston, TX!!). Some college kid came to my door back in November to sell magazines. Usually I'm really skeptical about door to door sales, but I thought it would be a good idea as some Christmas gifts so I ordered TV Guide for my mom & Today's Christias Woman for my sister & I was suppose to get Parents magazine free. I paid almost $100 in cash for these magazines. I had Christmas money saved from a side job that my husband did for us. You see, we're a one income family so we have to save where & when we can.
I haven't seen anything regarding my magazines yet so I decided to call the company. I couldn't find the phone number that I had for them, so I decided to look it up on the internet. Much to my surprise, I see all these reports of what a rip off this company is.
We have a baby & this is the first Christmas for her. I've lost out on $100 in gifts for her & my family because of this company. What is the world coming to when they steal money from you at your front door???
