Palmetto Marketing Inc., PMI ripoff no delivery fraudulent billing asked for cash Coral Springs Florida
I had just gotten home when I got a knock on my door. There were two high school students at the door. They were very charming so I let them in. They had told me that they were tring to sell magazines to raise money to go to Cancun,Mexico with their High School. I thought I was helping them out, so I ordered two different magazines for my two year old daughter.
It was not until April 5 that I realized that it had been a month since I had ordered the magazines and still had not recieved them. They had already cashed my two checks I had written to them before I realized that I had been riped off. I looked on the back of the order form for information and found that there was none. They have a declaimer on the back but only if the seller writes the date on the back of it. Then they want you to send a blank check to them to cancel your subscribtion. They also never asked me if I did drugs and about being mean person. They never quoted me any prices until after I ordered the magazines. What made me even think about being riped off was because I had another high school student come to my door tonight tring to sell me magazines for a scholarship to Virginia Tech.
If you are like me you are just plain out of luck. There is nothing I can do to get my $84 back. All I tried to do was help out some high school kids to go on a trip. I have learned my lesson, never give anyone money for anything without verification of company.
