Complaint Review: Palmetto Marketing

I answered the door to this girl who looked a little bit older than I was. She was a VERY fast talker. She was also very good at rapport. She found out a little bit about me, and then went with it.

Only then to find out she was selling magazines for this company and she would be rewarded with a trip to Cancun with her youth group if she could reach her goal.

So I decided to help and bought a magazine, a two year subscription to Vogue for $30.00. Needless to say I thought it was a bit much, but I went with it anyway.

Time went on and still no magazine. Then I looked on the internet, to try and find their phone number, and after I typed their company's name in the search field, I found all these Rip-Off reports.

What a bummer!

I have been ripped off and there isn't anything I can do about it.

It is really a shame too, because I am sure there are honest door to door sales people, but that just turned my completely off!
