A very nice young guy came to my door on the first of December. Miguel was very articulate, enthusiastic and dying for a trip to Cancun! He explained to me that the salespeople for Palmetto Marketing consisted of mostly troubled youth, going door to door selling magazines in order to improve their social skills, etc...He was very convincing, polite, and as a teacher, I felt even more compelled to help him out.
He told me the magazines would arrive at least before New Year's Day, and nothing ever came! I'm now out $64, and since I never researched the company until now, I seem to have no means of getting a refund. I have had 3 more people knock on my door since then, it seems like these types of companies make the rounds in this area evey few weeks. They all obviously take advantage of the kindess of stangers for a quick buck! Beware!
