We answered an add for a trailer for rent. When we got there it was a nice trailer but too small for us. They showed us another one, a park model, It was what we were looking for. They had just gotten it in and there was no electric or water hooked up but we were told it should only take a few days. We had sold our home so we were going to have to put our belongings into storage. They told us we could move our belonging in but couldn't stay there until there was water and electric. So 2 /28/2018 we moved in our furniture and I spent the next 5 weeks unpacking and cleaning. It was in rough shape but I knew that so no big deal as I know how to clean. It was hard go clean because there still was no water. The story was they needed to get a new water meter and hook it up. That never happened. The electrician they hired took weeks to get a pole put in and a box in and wiring done. We were told finally after 5 weeks the electrician was done and he had notified the electric company. So I called the company and set up an account for our electric. they said they would come out the next day which was april 5th 2018 and put in the meter. Well as it turns out they hadn't even gotten the electrical inspection done by the county. This whole process should have taken no more than a week to get done. 5 weeks in it wasn't done. I had spend so much time cleaning the place as best as I could and cleaning up the yard that was full of broken glass and you name it. I spent much time trimming the palm trees on the property.

On April 5th at noon the manager showed up and told us we had until that night to get all of our stuff out of the trailer or they were going to throw it in the dumpster. Finally Jackie said we could have a week. That week ended today on the 11th and we did get our belongings moved today. This cost us a fortune. We discovered while moving out there were many leaks in the trailer and it has termites as well as cockroaches. I found 2 live ones. I had cleaned up a couple of dead ones when we first started cleaning but hadn't seen any live ones until the day we moved out. Something fishy is going on because the office has not been open since April 4th and no workers or the manager have been seen. We have since learned this place has a really horrible reputation.

It is not my responsibility to put in a  utility pole and electrical box or meter in a rental unit.  We were told it would be a few days and it still isn't done  6 weeks later. The funny thing it it looks like the manager has now been fired and the office in that place hasn't been open in over a week.

No we did not.  They told us it was fine to put our belongings in there and for a month we had great conversations as they stopped by daily  and liked what we were doing to the yard and the way we were cleaning up around there and also the home.   You are just a smart mouth how knows nothing about the situation but have made up your mind.  Now done with you as all you are doing is trolling to cause hate and discontent.  Bye.

First off we didn't stay in the place.  We were out there working on the place.  It was to be done in a few days.   Not 5 weeks.   The electrician wasn't doing his job.  The stupid park paid the guy up front for all the work.  Anyone with half a brain knows you don't pay a contractor all the money up front for doing any job.  You weren't any part of this and have no interest nor do you have a clue of what came down.   we were lied to time after time after time.  We didn't spend one night in the place we have been living with a very dear friend since selling and vacating our home.

When someone tells me it will be a few days to get a pole set and the electrical box put in I expect a few days and at the very most a week to 10 days.   But 5 weeks is excessive and not right.  Perhaps if this had happened to you you would feel different.  WE are 75 yrs old.  My husband is not well so all packing unpacking lugging and toting has been up to me.  This has been a very expensive deal and now we are  paying storage on all of our belongs.  I don't see as this is any of your business.  .

I don't see any rip off other than you not being able to get things done. You never gave a starting date. It's common sense that you see the property is habitible. You'll also have to set up utilities in advanced. In fact, you do this before moving in. You ripped yourself off it seems by staying in an unhabitible which was explained. So if you're yelling rip off there is none since you forced yourself in. Something is fishy here, the lack of knowledge.
