I am a father of two i am on unemployment and a criminal justice student. in December ubi was cut for a short while so i was unable to pay my rent on time when i did have monies due i went to office to try to make payment but was refused. I was told by Pam Schmidt property manager she would not call sheriff and stop writ of restitution. So now we have another family with two small children ages 19 months and almos for years of age about to be homeless due to lack of compassion and caring to american people. Granted I have been late with most payments but have always made them including late fees and other fees applied to rent.

WHY would anyone BUY something that is on a rented lot?

That is just plain stupid.

It's not real estate. It will NEVER "appreciate".

A BAD investment all around.

You could have put that $26,000 into a REAL home and had a smaller payment on GENUINE REAL EASTATE that would be less than that tin can.

JUst plain stupid. I'm glad you cleared that up!

I am actually the owner of the mobile home it is paid for free and clear. purchase price of $26,000.00 so not always in a bad situation was i my thought is why not say pay rent for two months and try to sell mobile home to someone else to someone else so im out $26,000.00 for $600.00 im not sayin that i am in the right because i know i need to pay the rent but im saying i put my life savings into this place and now leaving with nothing. or why not purchase from me less lot rent and fees?

"Granted I have been late with most payments but have always made them including late fees and other fees applied to rent."

Very difficult to call this a ripoff. If you are habitually late, youare not the type of tenant any landlord or property manager is going to go easy on. You seem to think that they are giving you the boot just to be mean. That is probably not the case. They are likely looking to rent to someone who will pay as agreed.

Lest you think that property managers and owners do this out of spite, I have a friend who invested his retirement fund in a small apartment building. With most of the tenants paying late (some not at all), his mortgage on the apartment eventually was forclosed on. He won't retire anytime soon.

I'm not asking to live here for free i am not on food stamps tanif or living off the government im asking for understanding that until i can get a job i can make rent with unemployment will be late and i have no problems paying late fees and no need to take this far knowing i will get money property entitled to.

I know that anyone can fall on hard times, but the fact of the matter is that the rent is due and your not paying it. I fail to see the rip off here, except by you.

A job that can pay the bills is the priority, and school is second to that. Nobody owes you anything. It seems that everyone nowadays has some sense of entitlement.

You can't make your problems the landlord's problems.

You admit to making most payments late, so doesn't this tell you that the problem is on your end?

Your landlord is not the welfare dept.

Man up and get a job that can support your family, or 2 jobs or 3 jobs. Whatever it takes.

Stop your whining.
