Pamela Ann Vinson is posing as a secretary for a man with an African accent. He asks to send the money for deposit via Western Union for a deposit on a rental home. Never do that! I knew right off bat it was a scam, so I decided to have a great time and scam the scammers. Pamela Ann Vinson lives in South Carolina. This scam is going on Trulia and other rental home websites. They will send you a fake lease, tell you they will send keys to the property after some bullshit made up story of how they had to move out in a hurry.
It is so important that you ALWAYS check peoples backgrounds. They listed a home for rent in a very very posh neighborhood for only 1200.00 per month. Those homes are at least 8000.00 per month. Shady!

This true....They started out sending me emails out as Jerry Clegg then send the deposit to a Candace Holt....then send the if she cant get it send it to a Carole Silsby and finally it made to Pamela...So I asked why can't I just sent it direct ly to you Jeff....I said ot sound like a scam and I dont play about my money. Needless to say they will not be seeing one red cent of my money. Jeff started out in Kentucky then IL to finally SC. He also had the audacity to call as well. I have the numbers they are using and they are connected to a google voice. The numbers are 859-429-3082 and 803-574-9209. Beware!!!!

Thank you so much for the email, We are very pleased for your interest regarding our lovely 3 bedroom, 2 full bath single family home: 1420 Cloverbrook Cir, Auburn, AL 36832 and its still very much available for lease. All We require are responsible adults/family who are neat and also believe that they have what it takes to take care of our home with utmost care and concern like theirs while we are away. We initially had it up for sale but later had a change of mind in leasing it out ourselves, because agents who we ought to assign to help us in taking care of our home is asking too much of agent fee and making it difficult for us to find a trust worthy family and also scare them away from renting and so we had to put it up at this price to enable us get a family to occupy the home as soon as possible.
Please do note: - Myself and my family will be away for three or more years as we are currently in Kentucky due to my oldest son's admission into the EKU. We had to sacrifice coming with him because I am a man who thinks family is worth it and I would like for my family to stick together. Unfortunately, we won't be able to setup a viewing time as you can see from the pictures sent to you the home is very neat and spacious for you and your happy family. Please do tell me more about you and your family, your renting experience and how long and when you plan moving into our home with your family.

My husband and I had inquired about a home for rent on Hotpads.com, and was sent an application which we filled out and sent back. We done this after we had given them the pre-app info they requested which was to know more about our family, etc. We got an email today telling us we were approved, and to send the $700 deposit to their daughter-in-law, a Pamela Ann Vinson in North Charleston, SC. I was suspicious of this, and and Googled Pamela's name, and found her on this site, reported as a scam artist. I have saved all my emails between this fraudulant person and myself, and have also let them know that I found them out on this site! So, renters beware!
