We bought a 6 month old calico persian cat in Dec 2006. We paid $812.00 for the cat plus shipping. On arrival she had diarreha, and inflamed right eye and cold symptons.

We took her to the vet where they found she had bacteria and parasites which they treated her for. They commented on how small she was and said they believed she had had this all of her life. We did follow up stools for more tests since the diarreha persisted. Our vet didn't feel there was much we could do for her and she would always have these problems.

So we took her to another vet for a second opinion. They found she still had severe parasites and treated her for them again. After clearing them up she still has diarreha. They did a complete blood workup on her and said it showed signs of liver disfuction. They also commented that they felt she had these parasites for such a long times it damaged her intestines. This cat is now 8 months old still has diarreaha and has to stay confined to our laundry room and weighs about 2 pounds still.

This has been a horrible experience. We would like to prevent this breeder from shipping a cat to anyone else with these problems and hope someone will check and make sure she takes care of her cats.

She has offered to replace her only if we ship her back or if she dies from a genetic problem in a year. We have asked her to send us a healthy kitten but she will not do it unless she gets this one back or it dies. So far this breeder had done nothing to make us trust her at all. She even shows falsification on age on this cats health certificate showing it younger than the date of birth she gave us. Our vets confirmed the cats 6 month age by her teeth. So she got a vet to approve it for shipping at the 2 pound weight thinking it was younger than it actually was. We believe that is the only way the vet in Calif was able to sign off on its health certificate. He thought the cat was 2 months younger than it was so no red flag came up on the weight of it.

We would like for others to be aware that this breeder is not reliable so do not buy a cat from her.
