I joined Panda Research at the end of 2006. I was told once I accumulated $100.00 in my account from filling out surveys, that required me to apply for credit cards, that I would be paid in my PayPal account within 45 days.

It has been 6 months and my identity stolen later and still no payment for the over $500.00 worth of "surveys" I filled out. Not to mention what it did to my 700 FICO score. It dropped it to 520 as most of the "surveys" require you to sign up for credit cards.

This company must be stopped as they are ripping off a lot of people. I have had to change my Drivers License number as well as have all of my credit cards replaced due to Identity theft that was traced to their site.
I need help in obtaining remuneration for the damage they have done to my credit and to my life.

I have filed 3 reports with Ripoffreport.com to get a portion of my Panda Research monies paid to me. Out of the $600.00+ they paid me $124.00. I am in hopes that with all of the complaints on here about them that they will soon pay the balance.

It is sad that it took coming here to get them to follow through on their promise to pay.

It took the theft of my identity & many dollars spent. The amount they did pay is about equal to what I had to spend to take their "Free" surveys.

I am in hopes that the rest of the monies will be forthcoming, however, I do not plan on holding my breath for them.

If you come across this "work from your computer scam" click a different link. They are not what they appear to be.

#3Consumer Suggestion

Sun, July 22, 2007

"PANDA" research may be in an offshore country with loose, or even 'no', consumer protection laws. "PANDA" makes China come to mind.

And anyway, your problem would be difficult to prosecute in court.

Class action lawsuits are great for attorneys, but they often provide victims with miniscule per-victim awards. See notes on the results of a "Successful class action law suit against JK Harris".

Understand that "PANDA" will have sold your information as part of a "suckers list". People who have "taken the bait" before are FAR more likely, than is the average person, to "take the bait, again".

From now on, we can only hope you will avoid ALL something-for-nothing deals, because you will never get something for nothing- there is ALWAYS a hook.

Never respond to a spam offer that appears in your email inbox. Only deal with people YOU have first researched and for whom YOU have obtained credible recommendations, and then only when YOU have initiated *direct* contact.
