I called Papa Johns Pizza in Gulf Breeze, Florida and ordered a pizza. I asked them if they could change a $100 dollar bill and they said no, so I went to the store to get change and then called back and ordered the pizza, they asked me if I had change from the $100 dollar bill and I told them yes, that I went and got change, there was no problem with having the correct change, they said OK, what would you like, I said a large meat lovers pan pizza delivered and they said it would take 1 hour and 20 minutes, I said that would be fine. They completed my order and 2 hours later they were closed and still no pizza. I called the manager the next day which is Amber and she said they decided that I probably did not have the change from the $100 bill, therefore they decided not to make and deliver my pizza. I think its really cool that Papa Johns hires out of work psychics, but they should not use their prior job techniques as a psychic while working at a pizza delivery because I was really hungry that night and extremely tired from working and really expected that pizza to show up. If their psychic abilities were any good for the pizza industry, they would of predicted that I was very hungry and tired and really expected that pizza. I filed two complaints with the Papa John Corporate website and never received a response, so lesson learned if you want Pizza and want to know the Pizza Corporate office will respond to any complaints you have, a better choice will be Pizza Hut as Pizza Hut Corporation takes complaints serious. Further more if you are really hungry and expect your Pizza to show up, don't call Pappa Johns in Gulf Breeze as they will consult their crystal ball to see how much money you really have and if they dont think you have any money, no pizza.....I have ordered Pizza all of my life and this is the first I have ever experienced this, but at the same time, I never had Pappa Johns before....The way they do business, I would not be surprised if they have bitter workers who are pissed off at people with money and spit in your pizza, and if they have any kind of disease, guess what, its their gift to you as a rich person all because they were bitter that they had to work and serve those who made better choices in life than they did. May want to think twice about trying to buy a Pizza from Pappa Johns in Gulf Breeze.....I would not of said that if the Corporation would of atleast responded to my complaint, but they did not which tells me they dont care how their stores are operated. Scary thought HUH......what is the world coming to......I'll answer that.......Bitter workers of low wages spitting in your food.

I'm sorry to read about your experience. I have been working for various Papa John's locations for about three years now in every position from driver to manager and I can tell you that this store's actions were completely out of line.

I can understand their concern regarding the $100 bill. In some, but not all, cases, a guest asking the driver to bring change for a hundred is the same as asking, "Please bring enough money to make it worth my while to rob you."

Again, this particular store's actions were inexcusable, but I hope this may help explain the intent behind said actions.
