Paradigm Acceptance Company Charged for computer I don't have ripoff Hampton Virginia
Gateway referred me to thier finacing company, Paradigm Acceptance, I wanted a computer so I contacted them. They offered to sell me a gateway computer and told that I have to fill some paperwork and send it back to them before I got the system, that without the paperwork, my order would not be processed. I received the paperwork and the total amount for the system would be $2,448.41, APR 18%. I considered that for what I was offered that was entirely too much. I have not signed any of the paperwork, I have not turned in any items that they requested. In the contract there is an Authorization to Debit Down Payment which requires my signature which I have not signed, yet my account was debited for $103.71.
When I contacted Pardigm to let them know I did not need the system and that my account was debited, I was told by Kim, that they would go ahead and cancel my order but my $$ was non refundable and it was a verbal agreement between the sales rep and mysef over the phone. When I ask to speak with upper management, Kim was very rude and insisted that my $$ was non refundable and that if I wanted to dispute I had to do so in writing and that the President was not available.
This is to alert anyone who is interested in purchasing a computer, be aware of these companies. Check the internet for reviews about the company, you will find that they have ripped off several other people.
