Complaint Review: paragon stairs

i ordered diamond plate stairs, but when order showed up they were smooth surface. after my shock of the wrong order arriving, the company wants me to pay for re-shipping? the salesman brian (says) he mentioned he didn't have the diamond plate style in stock (false) all he did, was up-sell how he was getting my stairs to me much sooner than i expected, because he had in stock. when i argued with the recall of this discussion, a hint of truth slipped out, when he said, "i felt i was giving you the best option" . . from there it became obvious, that my trying to get an accurate re-accounting from his order taking, was like trying to catch a greased pig? i should have online researched, and would have known. i'll have to make what was sent to me work, and move on. (don't waste your time with slime) got my fingers crossed that there's no more surprises in the install this weekend. from the other reviews, i may be in for more.
