People on ebay cannot even get .99 for the same crummy artwork that I purchased or "won" at the onboard auctions on several different cruises. I paid for the appraisals, AFTER BEING HIGHLY PRESSURED TO DO SO, on these through Park West and the average appraisal came in at around $280-$500. Hah!!!!

Somebody doesn't know what they're doing, OR DO THEY? It sure is funny that the person signing the appraisals is the director of Park West, Albert Scaglione. Wouldn't it benefit him if you thought what you were bidding on were actually worth more than their starting bid amount? If that were true, wouldn't people be snapping them up off ebay for .99? The same art that I purchased or won can't even get a starting bid of less than a dollar.

Maybe I could sell them back to Mr. Scaglione. Maybe he would be willing to pay me only half of the appraisal value. We would both be happy, now wouldn't we? WALK DON'T RUN PASS THE DOOR TO THE ONBOARD ART AUCTIONS, YOU MAY AS WELL JUST THROW YOUR MONEY OVERBOARD. I think that the cruise lines would be better off to do away with their association with these people.
