Park West Gallery/AT SEA Ripoff! Questionable worth? Seems I was ripped!! Dali wood engraving w/ signature in pencil Southfield, MI And Florida/ Carnival Auction
I purchased two Dali wood engravings from his Dantes Inferno work. I spent almost $17 thousand On two pieces...I was offered the prestige from the auctioneers during the contemplation of purchase, telling me my son would reap the benefits of the "investment".
As my son was hearing all this, I signed and was delivered, yes, some gorgeous pieces...later to look online and find my pieces, as described on other art gallery sites,being sold for a fraction of what I was led to beleive they were 'worth' (at the bargain price of $17K.
I spoke to Park West reps and they eased my worry somewhat...but I still feel that I was ripped off. I cannot find any Dali artwork online that even comes close to what Park west sold them to me for.
Granted I love the pieces, they seem special..but I am not happy with the questionable info I have researched.
What can I do, really...?
