Phyllis Bond is a running a major fraud scam in the Bloomington, IN area. She owns a property management company that rips off many hundreds of people on security deposits. Most of the houses are rented to students or people involved with the Indiana University campus in Bloomington, IN.

She rents places out in poor condition and basically dirty including problems with mold. When the tenant moves out she pockets the majority of their deposit. Most are students who don't know where to turn and can't believe someone could be so sleazy. Wendy and Christopher Bomba act as front people for the scam.

If you're currently renting from these people, assume you will be cheated upon move-out on your deposit. Pay your final rent with a credit card online so you will have an option to charge back a percentage of your security deposit. File a complaint with the Real Estate Commission against her broker license and any where else you can think of. Sue them in small claims court. She set Christopher Bomba up as the agent for service. Thoroughly photograph the unit before and after you move in. Contact the city and school newspapers and let them know there are predators taking advantage of students. Contact TV news as well. I became aware of this situation when my daughter was cheated out of most of her deposit, even though the place was a mess when she moved in. Contact the school legal aid department for assistance and anyone else you can think of.
