Unethical doesn't begin to describe this company. Swindling my mom...a retired, school teacher living on a fixed income and charging her over $6600 for a water softener that functionally does the exact same thing as one you can buy for $400 at Home Depot is egregious.
They are using Costco's excellent reputation to dupe consumers into overpaying for their water systems that might have more bells and whistles but effectively do the same thing as units that cost 7 times less. I wish my mom had done some research. Good for you if you're reading this. Buyer Beware. Go to Home Depot, Sears, Spencers or Lowes to buy a water softener or reverse osmosis and have your plumber install it.
