This martial arts school is run by a man named James Parker who uses his military experience and medals to lend credibility to his various classes. He is promoting an active shooter defense course that is being taught by a "former Navy Seal." He claims to be a highly decorated Navy Veteran with numerous medals of service. In addition, he claims that he was a member of UDT and the Seal program.

The fact is that he has never served as active duty in the Navy, never won any of the medals he claimed and was never a Navy Seal. He also promotes his school to be affiliated with "Hyper" martial arts which appears to be a professional license. This too is a lie as his school is not a member or affiliate of Hyper Martial Arts. One can only assume that any claims made by this man are dubious.

His false military record was exposed on this website: http://thisainthell.us/blog/?p=77078

In some instances, using false military records to gain compensation is a crime. I am not sure if that applies in this case. However, making the claim that he will use his Navy Seal experience to help one defend themselves against attackers and active shooters is irresponsible if not flat out dangerous.
