These people are the worst total scammers. Apparently they have been doing this for years. Look them up on Ripoff.com, Yelp and BBB they have the worst reviews ever. I wish I would have done this before. We saw an ad on RV trader which normally has reputible ads for RVS posted for sale. It had a handful of photos which looked nice (NO VIDEOS) but before making the 2+ hour drive we decided to call and speak to a Salesman. We got Tim on the phone both my husband & myself asked Tim a ton of questions. He offered to send us more pics via his cell phone. So he sent them they were all the same views from the Rv trader. We asked him because it was a good price if it had Leaks? Any delamination? If everything worked. He said the only thing that did not work was the dash a.c which we were ok with and could have that fixed later.

So I called Tim and said we had the cash and we would make the long strip THAT DAU. He told me we have several people that are wanting to buy it that are calling in the come purchase. He said if you drive up here without leaving a deposit it would more than likely be sold before you arrive. He said if you want to hold it we REQUIRE a $1000 Credit Card deposit. I went back and forth with him about doing that based on an ad with very little details. He said " Stacey you are going to be pleasantly surprised when you arrived" He then emailed me a phone that i "HAD" to sign saying I would agree to this deposit. So I told him if the RV is like you have shown & also described over the phone we are 100% going to buy it.

So we made the long trip so excited to get the RV. We were not looking to buy something brand new this is our 3rd RV and we normally spruce them up to our liking. We arrived that after and are taken by Tim over to an RV immediately we saw the outside which had DELAMONATION that we had already asked if it had before making the drive and he said NO. Then we noticed all the tires were totally DRY ROTTED we could have never made it home with these tires. So we go inside thinking it will be nice like the pics shown to advertise this unit WRONG! The first thing I see is BLACK MOLD (I have pictures)

A Rusted out fridge (I have pics)

that is not running Holes in the bedroom walls

and the bedroom walls were covered in white duck tape (I have pics)

Seriously they could not have paid me to haul this thing off.

At this point we were totally disgusted and asked the salesman to see the owner he said "about the deposit" we said yes and he said "I figured you would want to" We knew we had been Scammed by a fake ad and they were just stealing deposits and had been doing this to people for years. We were taken inside to the owners son Bo Adams he said "Too bad I am keeping your deposit". If you don't buy it or something else on the lot "You are forfeiting your deposit to Parkway" I regret now not calling the Police to come out and do a report because we had been robbed. We tried to tell him it was not advertised with all the issues and none of this was shown in the photos on RV trader. Bo then said " I have a video showing all the bad places" I told him RV trader had no videos on line so we pulled it up at the desk and he said "Oh well it must not have uploaded" I told him I would be calling my credit card to dispute this SCAM with them he said "well you signed this deposit agreement and the credit card company can't do anything".

WRONG! These people have been doing this for years and it needs to be stopped. The charge hit my account today so I am able to start this huge process. At this point I will spend what ever it takes to (law suits/attorneys) to make sure these people know they can't continue running this Deposit Scam they have going. We have bought many Rv's and Parkway RV center is worst experienec I had ever had. Not to mention not even a single apology for the 5 hours travel time/gas wasted on our end. These people must be stopped. I will spend every single day spreading my story to craig's list, review sites and also RV trader for allow this company to use them as part of this scam. This could have been easily resolved by saying we are very sorry we did not advertise this correct and sorry we lied when you asked all the questions up front and simply given our deposit back.

What Is Wrong With You?

Why would you for one micro second even consider putting a deposit down on a USED RV you've never seen? Should they have been honest? Of course! However, YOU should have used COMMON SENSE and told them to get lost when they gave you the BS about requiring a deposit! What did the deposit agreement say? Did you read it BEFORE you sent YOUR MONEY? If they said it was not refundable and you STILL sent it, you need to get yourself a keeper! This is NOT a matter of trust! It is a matter of using COMMON SENSE, which YOU failed to do. At this point, contact the credit card company and put this into contest! DO IT NOW! No need to tell them in advance or even talk to them.
