Partners of Cleveland is expanding! Also known as North Star design, it has moved to Austin and is now going by Lone Star design. Ads are being placed in papers and on Craigslist and read something like this:
We specialize in local photography, some of the more famous masters like Picasso and Ansel Adams and we publish, frame and wholesale them throughout the United States and Canada. We are currently looking to fill several positions ranging from Secretary to Management to Distribution and Warehouse work. All of our positions are paid training.
When you come in for a first interview, you fill out an application (which they don't even read). They are not hiring ANY position except "manager," which their manager tells you is "a term that differs from company to company." In reality you're a door-to-door salesperson. You are then invited back for a second interview, an all-day shadow where they show you that it is door-to-door art sales, WITHOUT permit (or paying taxes).

Hello Hillary(Anna),
Thank you for your uneducated opinion of Lonestar Design! First of all, you only spent about 15 minutes with my company. Therefore, it would be quite difficult for you to know anything about us, especailly whether or not we pay taxes, sell without permits, positions within the company (such as management) or our day to day operations. Had you looked over the shoulder of the gentleman that read your application and interviewed you, you would have seen our sales permit on the wall, where it's been for 4 1/2 years. And in fact Hillary (Anna), I have paid my taxes every year like every business owner!
Lonestar Design has never been "North Star" or named anything else and I did not move my company here from another city. Partners is solely my art supplier and has no ownership of my business or any of the businesses in our network of companies. Next time you feel like slandering a company you might want to actually work for them first and have some factual knowledge of how they operate.
