I ordered twice from this company. The first time I ordered, they invoiced my entire order as having shipped, but actually shipped only one small part of it. When I complained, a few days later, the rest of the order followed. I figured it must have been an honest mistake, rather than business as usual, at that time.

So I ordered again, two lower ball joints and two upper control arms for my Ford Ranger. They sent a confirmation that all items had shipped, they charged my credit card for all itesm, and I waited for the items. Then I got the two lower ball joints  via UPS but no upper control arms, after having wasted days waiting for the upper control arms. I opened a complaint ticket and told them I could not wait any longer, please cancel the unshipped items (per their policy which states that backordered items will be refunded), and I would go out and buy the items locally, as I needed to get the job done that weekend.

They wrote back that they would not cancel an order once it was placed, and that I would have to await delivery of the items (mind you, back ordered items not shipped yet!) and then refuse the delivery or send it back at my expense and pay restocking fees.

I told them I would not pay them and would file a dispute with my credit card company, which I ultimately did.

They never did ship the items. Not for weeks. And only after I had filed my dispute with my credit card company, did they issue a refund of the charges for the unshipped items.

It seems to me that this is the Partsgeek MO. Charge for items not in stock, and just keep the money unless someone files a dispute. I know a con when I see one, and these people are pure con job.

The additional charge turned out to be because the bank issued a temporary credit, then partsgeek reversed the charge, then the bank had to erase the temporary credit. So although they did not bill again, this has been nothing but confusion and misery just because this company is crooked.

So they reversed the charge, and then a month later, they charged me again. No parts ever shipped, and this is for merchandise backordered and cancelled two months ago.

These people are crooks and frauds.
