Party Characters For Kids Globe Incorprated They canceled a performance 2 days before it was scheduled because they could not find a performer. They promised to refund my deposit but they have yet to do so after 2-1/2 weeks.
On Sept. 5th, 2019 I booked a batman lookalike character for my grandson's 4th birthday party which was on September 15th, 2019. When booking if chose the specific character, location, date & time. It was accepted and I was required to pay a deposit of $62.90 which I did.
On Friday, Sept. 13th at 11:53 am I recieved a text from them stating they were doing thier best to look for a performer for the event on Sunday and would I consider a different character. I phoned them because I was furious. I believe if a booking is accepted, and they take my deposit, they would be able to fulfill their obligation.
They claimed they were calling all the venues in the area to find someone. After 2-3 more phone calls back and forth that day, I finally got an email at 5:58 pm from them stating that they had cancelled the event performance. I called them the next day on the 14th to let them how how upset I was and that I wanted my deposit refunded. they promised they would take care of it.
I have sinced called, emailed and texted them several times regarding my refund. On the calls when I spoke to someone, each time they promised the correct person that I needed to talk to would be in shortly so I should keep my line open because they would be calling. They have never called me back. The last time I spoke to someone (I didn't write down any names), he said he would personally take care of it. I still have not gotten my deposit refunded.
