Pasco Claims Service - Craig Scott Overworked Without Pay Southlake Texas
I was offered work by Pasco Claims Service, and accepted. They "forgot" to download claims to me in MSB for the first 5-days, which left me 35 claims behind right out of the starting gate. What I didn't know was that they're using long-term, unlicensed adjusters, say you'll receive pay 10-days after a claim is submitted, then don't pay for at the very least, 2-months. If you ask too many questions about receiving pay for the claims you've worked the HR/Payroll person either ignores you, or sends a response at 5:00pm on a Friday (she doesn't work weekends).
They left me stranded literally, in the middle of no where, and when I requested either an advance, or a paycheck, in order to finish scoping claims they'd assigned to me, not to mention pay bills at home, I was told that I was no longer working for them per Craig Scott, and that I had less than 2 days to submit what I had. They then had MSB shut down so that I couldn't work on claims. I had to remind them that this was coming out of my first paycheck that I hadn't received, and it was reinstated. I've submitted ALOT of claims, and they're looking at, maybe one, two at the very most, per day, and that's only if one of their clients calls and asks for a status (after they've called me and ripped me a few new ones thinking their claim hasn't been submitted).
I've already talked to one attorney. I'm probably going to give him another call as the email response I received at 5:01pm (Texas time) stated that I will not see a paycheck for at LEAST 2-3 more weeks.
I've never heard of adjusting practices like this regarding other independent adjusting agencies. I'm disgusted, and trying to quickly find work so that I can catch up, I hope, on the last 2-months of bills that I have accumulated.
If you're an independent adjuster, use good judgement before working for Pasco. If you're having the same issues, my next steps will be to file complaints with the Texas Labor Board, Texas Dept of Insurance as well as any Federal agency that has to do with fraudulent insurance practices.
After all of this, I'll let my attorney handle them.

I am an independent adjuster, not an employee of Pasco, however I have contracted with Pasco.
I can't say that what you experienced wasn't how you portrayed it, however I can speak of my experience. I went to Louisiana and Houston for Pasco. At orientation Craig was very specific about "new" clients and that they expected some delays regarding pay until things meshed and better flow was established. He also was explicit about what was expected from adjusters, the vision of Pasco and how we represent Pasco in the field.
I received more claims than I imagined I would being a newbie to Pasco. I had many questions regarding how things were being handles vs. other companies, however I also resolved any issues or questions with my team lead first and foremost, and can flatly say...Pasco, and Craig kept their word. If situations changed regarding client expectations or requirements, I was notified in a timely matter and all pay questions were answered promptly.
I don't know of ANY non-licensed adjusters, Pasco took copies of all licenses as part of the contract process. Regarding the ten day pay...Craig said at orientation that would commence once the roll over commenced...IE if a client pays 60 days after claims submitted, then that starts your cycle with that client, and in fact I ended up being paid starting 30 days in, every Thursday...NOT every ten days. In this business, and as a contractor get used to it...some clients don't pay for 90 days, that why they say to have 3-6 months pay in the bank before you roll.
I asked for an advance at orientation to cover Integriclaims and Craig pulled out a checkbook and wrote it right there. I thought I may need another advance at one point as fuel was outrageous, and was told by my team lead to tell him what I needed up to, and not exceeding a certain amount...turns out I did not need the second advance.
I experienced the total opposite of what you have described. I worked in a 5th wheel with 3 other adjusters...all of us shared the same experience. I will definitely work for Pasco again and continue to take Craig for his word.
