Complaint Review: Pasquale

Two young men, very nice in a nice SUV (green Jeep or Acura) approached me in the parking lot of Bristol Farms on Sunset Blvd and N Fairfax in Los Angeles. They appeared to be looking for directions or help, but after getting sucked into listening to them by them appearing to not speak english and needing help, the talker of the two gave me a charming sad story about how he was a fashion designer, he showed me his passport, his business card, he told me he was supposed to fly home to italy in December but because he lost all of his money he now needed 265 dollars to change his flight (he also had a flight ticket to show me)

Very nice..."can I hug you?" "when you come to Italy you stay with me!" etc. All very charming, I fell for it, what a sucker I am! Of course he gave me a shirt and a jacket for my trouble..."samples" from his fashion show.

The guy is good, but be smart, don't fall for it! Look past the charm! Get photos of the license plate and then go to the police station and get them while they're still in that car!

PS - "Pasquale" went by "Mauricio" this time
