PassportofFun Debited my credit card fraudulently Internet
I received an email to a new email account from passportoffun that I would be billed 14.95 membership fee on 8/5. I didnt check my email till 2 days later. I immediately checked both my bank account and credit card and found the credit card charge. I called their fraud department and the man immediately knew of them. He called them while I was on the line, had me tell them to reimburse the card and cancel my account which they did. He said they were good about doing that but you had to request it. I tried doing it on their website but it kept taking me in circles.
I found out this account was setup automatically when I purchased cheap preprinted labels in order to get a free AVG antivirus program, which I got a promotional email from AVG about. I had already concluded this was where it happened since that was the only place I had used my new email account for a purchase. The credit card fraud dept. said passportforfun is always associated with an inexpensive or free purchase on the internet. I was lucky to have caught mine before 30 days and get quick action, so beware.
