Pastor John Raymond, John Raymond, Disciples Cross ships shoddy supplies, bad packaging, does not pay affiliates Slidell Louisiana
Slow to ship supplies to producers, if shipped at all. When shipped, most of the time the clear coat has spilled all over the other contents. Uses Japanese style inspection to avoid paying producers for their crosses. Does not pay their affiliats for their affiliate program.

Disciples' Cross Producer/Consumer;
I'm a little late in to getting around to responding to consumers’ concerns. I might add that I do not work for the company, or do I attend church there, nor do I have any connection to the company - other than purchase materials to make the crosses. Over the 10 or so years that I have been involved, I have had a lot of success marketing my crosses. I have made quite a little bit of money, had a lot of fun, and met many people while doing so. Now that I’m in my 70’s, my hands and eyes do not work as well, so I have slowed down quite a bit. I never intended to venture into the production idea making crosses as a sole venture to make money – only to use it as a ministry tool. I doubt I will ever change my viewpoint on this – if God is in it, I will prosper; if not, I will continue to focus on it as a ministry and try to improve the program as best I can.
Now I have an idea I am going to try to develop; that is to buy crosses from those who make them and are dissatisfied with the current plan they are in. I will attempt to purchase any cross made, regardless of the quality; I will not impose a standard for anyone to meet – for if I can “redo” those crosses and sell them for what I have in them – we both can win. I will also buy left over materials if they are useable.
