I ordered a transmission online.  I spoke with them in great length on more than one occasion to make sure I was getting the right transmission for the weight I was carrying.  I had it shipped with additional accessories.  First off, they gave me an inaccurate measure of how much fluid I would need to fill the transmission and the additional accessories I had ordered.  I was 1 Gallon and 1 Quart short from what they told me I would need.

After a couple of months, the transmissions stopped shifting until it warmed up.  Then it ran like a bat out of Hell!  I Contacted Don at the warranty center.  They had me to change the fluid.  This procedure was Very expensive when it requires the use of 3 Gallons of Full Synthetic fluid.  That didnt work.

Next they sent me another valve body with gaskets and had me to change it out.  I did this, and then it would not shift at all, even when warmed up.  So I put the original valve body back on.  I contacted them again about this problem.

I was told if I sent the transmission back and no problem was found they would charge me.  So I was instructed to bring my vehicle to their shop so they could see the problem first hand.  So I arranged the trip to their company from Houston, to Bossier City, LA.

I arrived at their shop early so engine and transmission had a chance to cool down and show the problem. When they arrived and saw I was an African American, they didnt even want to wait on me.  It was a very obvious attitude problem.  First of all, they didnt drive the vehicle.  A Mechanic was instructed to drop the valve body and look at it to see what the problem was.

They noted that one of the small metal beads was out of place. I let them know I followed their instructions to attempt to change this out as a favor to them.  When you pay $3,000 for a transmission and extra parts, you dont expect to have any problems at all.

So when they tried to lower the van off their lift, the hydraulic pistons blew out and ruined my primer job on that side of the van with hydraulic fluid!  A flat bed wrecker was called in and they had to drive the van off the lift onto the wrecker. Then it was taken for a test drive with the valve body that was looked at and installed by their mechanic. It drove terribly.

They tried to convince me to drive it home and send the transmission back to them for repair!  Unbelievable!!  It was not even running fit enough to get back home.  I told them I would not leave until it was repaired. And that I had made the trip there based on the work they said they would do to resolve this problem.  It was Friday evening.  So they refused to come in on Saturday to rectify this problem.  So I had to wait until Monday to get this taken care of.

They were so crewel until when I used the rest room, they would beat on the door to terrorize me! The mechanic who changed out my transmission lowered the door in all this heat so I could not see him work on my vehicle.  I heard him beating on something, but I could not see what he was doing.

When this operation was completed it had an exhaust leak where he apparently could not get the cross over pipes connected properly.  (Later I found a C clamp holding the cross over pipes on one side). When it was taken for a test drive, it did not shift well at all.  I complained to the owner, but, nothing was done to correct this. I let him know I was not satisfied and I left it alone because I didnt want to be totally stranded before I left this area so I didnt argue with him about the problem.  It was not shifting into 3rd gear firmly and this in turn strained the 4th gear.

I found this to be a bigoted company with no honor in the work they do.  They had no intentions of giving me good service and I believe if they could have restricted who their transmissions were sold to, that they would not have even sold me a transmission in the first place.
