Martin, I too have potentially interested companies looking at my invention, and now PTI and United Licensing are no where to be found.

I cannot contact them over the phone. I have left several messages, and now all of their voice mailboxes are full. Have you found the same results?

I cannot access my personal invention website because the websites seem to have disappeared (or shut down). And as far as emailing--I have had the same results as calling them.

I have received several contact names with interested companies all over the world, and have been in contact with them. But where is PTI? Where is United Licensing? Have you done any research to find out if any other PTI branches have shut down?

I have a patent attorney who is helping me through the patent application process. Have you been contacted by an attorney?

Maybe together we figure out what is going on. I would hate to think that we are truely being ripped off. My experience with PTI has been a positive one until this point. Now that I have exhausted all of my options for contacting them however, I am wondering if Steve, or Dirk (or whoever he is with the sob story above) is actually correct.

Let's try to get to the bottom of this together. The invention process is enough work without worrying about being ripped off!
