I was approached by this company by mail with a return postage that said authorized by the US government, so i responded thinking stimulus efforts wanted to help me to settle my debts. I have always been very conciensious about paying my bills when I can, even my payments to PFM, and corresponding with them. I was shuffled around several different agents on my account, informed that they were going through transistions within the firm. This led to more and more estranged and new people supposedly representing my claim. I did not speak to creditors as requested. Eventually in the New Year, the creditors made me aware that this company was not in my favor and indeed had not been in contact with my creditors or paying them anything.

I went to see if there was any way to have the money go directly to my creditors, as I was in a place to settle out directly some of the fees I owed, when Pathway said I had only paid them for what I owed them for their services!! Which was nothing!!.
When I telephoned, I was given as much avarice and compliance as a debt collector themselves, these people clearly were not representing me what so ever, nor have any concerns for the client. I don't know why I did not see all the rip off complaints when I signed up with them, and at the time even had my Father who was chairman of one of the banks I was working with at one time. He spoke with the agent Chuck and I was promised fair treatment.

Clearly the banks did not want to work with this company. Clearly the company did not want to work with me, and made the creditors claim they would sue me, and that Pathway would not represent me if I were to be sued by them. I found more compliance with the banks than with the company I was supposed to be represented by, and in the end, I was the only one managing my account effectively for pathway was making certain it got it's cut before anyone else.

I asked for a cancellation and was told I would be able to speak with a representative.
I was never given that phone call only a letter. I was told I would have the option to stay with the program when I received the call and was told what my return would be if I were to cancel and given the option to remain with the program.

I was given no such phone call or option, only a check for 141 $ of the 2100$ I sent.
I am sorry, but one does not require a college degree to see that this is complete forgery with no interest of the client at heart, only a firm that seeks to as is said in other reports, PRey on the fiscal de saturation of the American People.

I too am like the soldier, I cry at night, feel frustrated, hopeless, abandoned, hopeless, uncertain how to encompass my bills. Such a fee, 2100 hundred could have secured settlements with at least 2 of my creditors, and perhaps I could have had further assitance from this point, ALAs, now I am months, 7-8 months behind of where I ought to be on the matter. I am also frustrated with the banks for the same reason that they could not be appeased and so I found myself in this situation in the first place.

it's not like me to harbor such inadequecy and  it truly has hastened my effort to settle my debts, and not to mention the emotional aspect, that I have been basically swindled. I am now unable to proceed in the positive aspects of life.

If the employees of this company, the ones who lie to themselves, and their clients day in and day out that it's the clients who ought to have more confidence in the program, then I would suggest this to you.

The next time you go to the gas tank, remember that it's impoverished me filling up your tank, remember the next time you order wine at dinner, remember that it's the soldier you swindled buying you that wine, and the American People who are wiping your asses with the toilet paper you buy with our hard earned efforts and money to restore our sanctity in our name and financial structure. It's us, who give you the reason to come to work everyday, so why would you want to be a part of such a grand forgery.

Albeit there are some who you have helped, but for the masses on these sites who say, hey What about me...Clearly as you wipe your buts, fill your tanks, and drink the wine, you have forgotten what integrity is, and I for one will not suffice with 141 return on 2100.  Maybe I would have let you get away with it if you sent me 1200, something I could work on.

I looked over my policy, no where do it give rates of return on cancellations.

No where in this process, from the shifting of representatives to the lack of direct telephone lines, to the taking of my funds one day after I cancelled, is this a kosher consumer supported faction. No where, and personally, I would have more tact saying I worked for Citibank or bank of America than for them. I too have suffered major emotional setbacks as a result of this.  And i condemn you for certain and will fight for my dignity and cash to be returned to me.
