Thankfully, I found a "RipOff" report before I continued any more conversation with this person. A few things were not adding up, and then when I saw her response about the trailer being in "showroom" condition as matching the other responses in this report, I confirmed it was a scam. Advertised as a Valley horse trailer in Ellensberg, WA, but the "woman" selling it said she lived in Nebraska, and moved to Spain - having to sell her horses and trailer. The freight company was in England (all too fishy...) Here's the dialogue:

Patricia,
I am sorry, but things just aren't adding up here. I am wondering why your trailer is in Ellensberg, Washington (the location stated on the add I saw) when you said you lived in Nebraska, and the company you are working with is located in the U.K, while you are currently in Spain. This is now beyond my comfort level of making a complete transaction with the money I've been saving for a horse trailer. After searching on the internet, I found responses all too similar to the one you provided me, written to other potential buyers. Finding out it is a scam would be devastating, and a risk I am not willing to take. Please be respectful of the people you are going to work with in the future. Bummer, I really liked the trailer.
Thank you,

Ok,
In order to start the deal you have to go to their web site: http://i-f-pvt-ltd.co.uk and register (it's free). After the registration is complete go to your account and start a new transaction as a buyer. Please remember, the total price is $1900, the shipping and escrow company fees will be paid by me, so you will have to fill in the form with the amount of $1900 and select the 'paid by seller' option in the shipping and escrow fees field. The rubber mats will be included. If you have any other questions please email me back.
 Thanks!
Patricia

I was wondering, are there any rubber mats with the trailer?
Thank you,

Hi again,
As you could see the horse trailer is in showroom condition. It is paid in full and will come with the title (clear title), bill of sale signed by me and all the papers that you need to register it under your name.
The trailer is stored to a warehouse but the shipping isn't a problem. It can be done at no cost for you. You will receive the trailer along with all the documents.
As for the payment we can start a transaction through the freight company where i'm already registered. You will have to register too on their web site, sign into your account and start a new transaction as a buyer. They act as a third party and will protect both of us in this transaction.
Email me back with your full name and shipping address if you'd like to buy it.
     Regards!
 Patricia

Hi,

The trailer is available for sale. The price I'm selling it for is $1,900.00, which is including all charges. It is very clean, clear title and no mecanichal problems. I used to live in Chadron, Nebraska but I'm currently working in the Spain and I'll be moving here permanently within the next few months. I have already been sold my horses and I can't afford the luxury of taking the trailer with me so I decided to let it go.
I'm using a freight and escrow company to sell this trailer, I left it at their warehouse in Chadron, Nebraska before leaving to the Spain. They are supervising the entire sale process from payment, shipping with a inspection period, title transfer service or/and (if needed) returns and refunding. I can ship it for free within the US if you want to buy it. Let me know what you decide. The pics speak for themselves, You'll love the trailer, I can guarantee you that!
     Let me know your intention...

     Thank you!
Patricia
